froghopper on the Clyde

while reading by loch and stream by R C Bridgett he recommend a trio of flies for the Clyde.a red spider a black midge and a froghopper !!.if this was a modern dressing i could imagine it being a large monstrosity but this is from the 1920 s.anyone out there know the dressing for this fly.

It is very small, about 3-4mm. The closest that I can find for the Clyde is the Green Insect

body:   light-coloured green tying silk, or light green DFM

hackle:  white cock, sparsely dressed (I have seen this palmered as well as a collar)
