My shimano reel has taken one dunt too many and now its almost impossible to fit the reel on the but of the rod, the problem lies with the saddle its well buckled. Does anyone know if there is a way of getting this repaired instead of me have a go with a hammer which I am sure will result in a new reel.

I came across this... http://www.shimanofelindre.co.uk/faqzone.htm

Might be worth giving them an email/phone?
