Dream of a fly.

I was busy daydreaming the other day, when this pattern popped into my head. Don't think it is a named fly, but there is not much new in fly tying.

Introducing the "Gander's Glory" (formerly named the Daydream, but the new name has more of a ring to it).



Hook - Kamasan B175 (or similar)
Thread - Olive UTC70
Body - Olive seal's fur with an orange seal's fur band in the middle (Bibio style)
Rib - Gold wire
Body Hackle - Olive cock
Head Hackle - Grey partridge.

Not the most original; more a combination of shrimp and Bibio patterns, but very pretty. I'll be trying it out on Watten next week. Report to follow.
