Alternative "studding" for waders

Ordinary aluminium strip works fine and you can get it at lots of places. You just need a drill stand, the drill bits, a countersink,  a hacksaw and the screws. I made up a few sets, I have six sets and they cost 9 Euros total.

I've been using these for a few years now as I dont like studs, great for muddy banks or if there is ice on the path to the fishing. Most of the time they stay in the bag in the car but handy when required.
