Never mind not a bad lad Mr Orvis....not a bad lad Mr Smith at Guide Fly Fishing.

Well, I have a wee problem with my Redington Redfly. This was a replacement butt section that I got last year (because I may have landed rather heavily on the original :roll:).

Anyway I sent an email to Guide Fly Fishing last night and got reply this morning (9.20am).
As I've not had this section long and it is a fault (not break) all they are asking is for me to return that section (not the entire rod) but they are shipping me a complete new rod (all 4 sections) immediately  - very handy, leaves me with 3 spare sections.

I had exactly the same problem with a greys rod - they wanted ?30 off me to replace the section.  I glued it back on, means I have probably voided the warrenty though :roll:
