Here's the fly you're getting from me. I apologise for the tying quality (no, really...you'll see what I mean!), but I thought you might like the pattern.

I tried to do a step by step, but the pic quality eluded me, so maybe later.

Size 10 Shrimp/Buzzer hook.
8-10 wraps of fine lead wire.
Black thread.
Tail is a few strands of Pearl Krystal Flash
Dubbing is a 30/70 blend of red flashabou dubbing and claret seals fur.
Fine brass wire around the dubbing - 4-5 times.
Hackled with a soft grizzle hen (large feathers from the bottom of the cape, tied tip first. 2 wraps max, then held back over the body with thread wraps.

The major changes from the original Tandoori from last year have been the addition of the krystal flash and the change from a game hackle to the soft hen hackle. I felt that the game hackle was just a bit too big and the hen feather allowed more control of the size of the hackle. Ideally, the hackle should just about cover the body when wet and swept back, but still be able to 'kick' when moved in the water.

Hope you get some fish with it.
