It's a bonny spot but I was not fishing. In fact I have not fished at all this year, the hellish spring weather and endless spates  just sickened me and I  just could not be bothered. In any case apart from  this stretch I just can't cope physically  with the banks these days and  I  have no time  or desire to fish for still water farmed trout, I'd rather pack it in..

Looking a bit like 2023 may have been my last season! We shall see.  😄

Nice shot Fred, I had a look at the Kinnnel stretch the other day, that Ranunculous will do the water levels and quality good, great for holding young fish, I reckon it could fish it's head off in  year or two.

Lots of fish rising today, not a boil by any means but steady. Strangely I felt no desire to fish for them.
