What do you guys know about this rod. I have recently acquired one in "brand new" condition.
I seem to remember all be it a while back this size/model was quite sought after by "those in the know".
Not thinking of selling but I did wonder what it might be worth.

PS: I got it for nothing, zero, zilch, nee haw. Lucky me........I think.

Heavy, soft and floppy. A good loch style boat rod, easy to cast with a following wind. I still have a 10 foot one somewhere that I never use. Actually I think Magnus Angus might have it. I seem to remember  I lent it to him years ago for his CCS  rod tests and never got it back.

Fred , Gave it a wiggle about, not at all heavy considering it's age & though "a long rod" not what I would call floppy. Now having said that "all" my rods are older models so compared to today's sticks it may well be. Remember this from a guy that wielded a 10ft Milbro Trufly about for 10 odd years so anything in comparison with that is decidedly light.      :)
I like the feel of it & like Andy says will be/is a good rod for drifting.
